Thoughtifaction is a reflection on living on an island that is surounded by German fortifications. These forts are the lasting memory of the occupation of the island. These gray, ghosts of the past look out from the islands coast to the rest of the world. This is high contrast to the somewhat isolated and insular community of the island of Guernsey. Some times we feel trapped.
